Nike iPod Sport Kit

Two popular companies have teamed up to bring you the Nike iPod Sports Kit. You can turn your iPod nano or iPod touch into a personal trainer that will help you track your workout status as well as provide feedback while you workout.

First you need the iPod Sport Kit which contains a wireless sensor and receiver that connects to the dock connector on your iPod. You'll also need a pair of Nike+ Shoes which you can buy at most sporting goods stores. Simply place the wireless sensor in the built-in pocket under the insole of your shoes and as you workout it will send information back to your iPod. The sensor can track your time, distance, pace, and calories burned and can even send you feedback as you reach certain goals throughout your workout.

After your workout you can use your iPod to sync up to iTunes and nikeplus.com to transfer the data from your workout and keep track of workout goals and performance. It's like having your own coach or personal trainer keeping track of all your hard work.
